With ample walking from the door and walks can be enjoyed along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. You can take an energetic hike up the majestic Pendle Hill, which can be viewed from the rear of the property, or a gentler stroll down to the local pub which serves food and dates back to the early 18th century. Other nearby Pendle villages full of colourful history include Roughlee, Newchurch-in-Pendle and Barley where the famous Pendle Witches lived and where you will find Pendle Hill. A 10-minute drive will take you to Boundary Mill Outlet where you can indulge in a bit of retail therapy.
