We have a dog and enjoy quick walks round Kitchener Road Park just round the corner, slightly longer walks to Lloyd Park 5-10 mins away and for really long walks Epping Forest is just up the road. Walthamstow has bloomed in the years since we have been here with the Cinema and restaurants up in the Town Centre and a growing number of independent Coffee Shops, Bars and Restaurants scattered around E17. Our favourite Coffee Shop is Wood Street Coffee, which is a 1.5 mile walk from the house. This is just the right distance to get a good walk in with the dog, have some brunch and walk it off. This is one of the things we will miss most. We never have a problem finding someone in the neighbourhood to look after the cat when we go away.'
