We have a double bedroom available in a 3 bed house located in Bedminster. The house is on a quiet residential street with Victoria Park a short walk away and Asda just 10 minutes down the road. The centre is 20minutes away if you're walking, but there are plenty of bus stops close by. The room available is a double and comes with a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. It's at the front of the house and looks out over the city scape. The rent for this room is £600 per month, including all utility bills and council tax. The TV license is not included, we currently split it between us and it comes to £8.75 each. There's a furnished shared living room and kitchen, and a small, low maintenance garden at the back of the house with a lovely view of the city (as pictured). We're a sociable household looking for somebody with similar interests who likes spending time together after work or on weekends. We like to cook together and watch Netflix documentaries after work or just catch up over a cup of tea. **please message me rather than just pressing the express interest button as it won’t let me message you unless you message me first** This is a short term let from 6th Feb to 28th Feb (if you need to stay slightly longer than that I can probably accommodate. The house has a front drive which you are welcome to use if you have a car, a downstairs bathroom, a large back garden, a kitchen and a living room. It is a 3 bed house and I currently have a friend renting out the single room for the next couple of months, so it is 2 females living here currently plus one small but larger than life doggo! The garden has decking and a shed (with enough room for a bike) and is a decent size. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly house. The room comes fully furnished with a bed, chest of drawers, bedside table, and wardrobe. All bills are included in the price. There is broadband and a washing machine. I also have a loft with plenty of storage space. There is a well-stocked corner shop 1 min walk away, and the bus stop for the number 90 bus that goes into town is a couple mins walk away. Temple Meads is a 20 min walk away, and there are 2 Tesco Metro’s, a Lidl, and Asda Bedminster all 20 mins or less walk away. There are a lot of green and wooded spaces very nearby, and Victoria Park is a 5 min walk away too. It is very strongly required that you love dogs (a lot!) as I have a little Jack Russell cross who is very affectionate and friendly, but also rather loud. He does the usual doggie things: barking, farting and begging for food (even though he is a tad overweight) so it would be ideal if you are used to being around dogs. Due to having him, I cannot unfortunately consider anyone with pets as he does not get on with cats and other dogs sadly (fish are fine, small rodents can also be kept in your bedroom but at your own risk!) I am looking for someone chilled out (my days of having a party house are over!) who is friendly but also knows when to give me space. It is very important that you are responsible and reliable, as well as politically left-wing, (that is not something I would budge on!!) Please also be willing to do your fair share of the cleaning. I may ask you to tell me a little bit about yourself before arranging a viewing (which will prob have to be via video at the moment). Students and people who work from home are welcome!
