Free gym, secure bike lockup and 24 hour concierge/ parcel service included. Friendly neighbours with an active fb group. THE ROOM Two bright bedrooms; floor-to-ceiling windows with epic sunsets. Both beds have memory foam topped mattresses. The long term available one has a large three-door wardrobe, full length mirror & shelves. There's space for a desk or bookcase up to 125cm length. The larger bedroom is also available for c. 2 months sub-let til I get back home to UK. Happy to do a deal for someone who wants to rent them both (e. g. a couple wanting some office space, or two friends, or rent separately) Bathroom is directly opposite, only for those rooms (third flatmate has ensuite room). Modern fittings, with your own storage cupboard and bath/ shower with great water pressure & constant hot water. THE FLATMATES Two friendly/ creative professionals (Digital Designer & Video Producer) In normal times, both like gigs, festivals, keeping fit, climbing, cycling, travelling the world and playing music. Occasional living room jams will hopefully happen again one day, and a beautiful double bass lives in the hallway (but only gets played at acceptable hours, promise) It's a sociable vibe but not a party pad {I mean, nowhere is right now, but you know what i mean...} We're both lively cheerful characters, but chilled in the no-drama/ good at 'adulting' sense. We also bought an inflatable dinghy, so if you are here while the weather is warm, you can come out for a bob along the canal. YOU! Must be easygoing, friendly, clean, and a fluent English speaker. Ideally in your 30s, creative but with secure career, familiar with London already and looking for a place and people to call home. Interest in eco-conscious living and tolerant political views are appreciated. Anyone who's musical would be awesome, and being an occasional gig or climbing buddy {when they start up again} would be an extra bonus! Note, we're explicitly an *LGBTQ-friendly* household. (Unfortunately furry pets are not allowed, and looking for an individual, not a couple to move in, unless both rooms are being rented for short let - not for long term once other flatmate returns) THE AREA/ TRANSPORT Hackney Marshes is our beautiful 'back garden', Victoria Park just a few minutes away. Stroll down the canal 5 mins for all the (rapidly expanding) Hackney Wick offerings, or short walk to Hackney Central for Picturehouse cinema etc. Stratford/ Westfield 10 mins cycle. Lots of transport options - 10 mins walk to Homerton & Hackney Wick for Overground (aka 'ginger line'). Bus stop virtually outside for local or city buses. (I often cycle to Stratford to hop on Central or Jubilee line). DETAILS Gym use, secure bike storage and 24hr concierge and heating are included in rent.
