Hi, I work at nearby York Hospital and I’ve just bought my first home on my own! It’s a really cute semi-detached cottage with lovely garden. It’s furnished - you’ll get a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, mattress, mattress protector, chair, curtains. Shared bathroom with just me, it’s dated (Baby blue!) but clean, functional and huge. I’ve got all new appliances (microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, washer / dryer). Bills are included - council tax, electricity (Bulb), water and broadband (EE), insurance (Aviva) and it has lights and a burglar alarm. . I do like big nights out some weekends / BBQs in summer but I prefer my own home to be a chilled spot - mainly I love healthy eating and the gym. I cycle (there’s a padlocked bike shed) and the house is so easy by bike or foot for the centre of York - it’s on the number 1 and 5 bus route. It’s close to YSJ, Monks Cross, Nestle and the hospitals. There’s free on road parking. I’ve requested a garage behind the house from Rowntree’s but, as of yet, still waiting (I don’t drive). I could potentially get a housemate earlier or later if you message me. I’m happy for short term rentals - I’m completely flexible and negotiable. I’m happy to accommodate a student. I know £550pcm can seem a lot but it includes bills and, I know when I used to rent, I used to prefer to pay a bit more and know I wouldn’t have to stress over splitting surprise bills etc. So I’ve tried to make it easier. You’re also just sharing with just me.

Also, no partying at the house or social meeting/friends or partners invited to the property due to living in a quiet residential area. I don’t mind going out for a meal or film with the flatmate or go to the gym/ do other fun activities with the housemate.
